During the COVID-19 school closures, elementary students in my student teaching placement were given a series of optional art assignments to work on at home. Every four weeks a new group of options would be released and students had the choice of a drawing, art history, or make art video. Students would send their work in to be seen by the group of elementary art teachers in the district. Over the 8 weeks of my student teaching placement, I created four videos using iMovie to give students the option to create art at home with household items.

Nature Collages

Patterns are found in nature all around us. Go looking for flowers, leaves, etc. in your yard or around the house to create patterns or nature collages.
