Jenni Sweitzer earned her B.A. in Graphic Design in 2006 and her B.S.E. in Art Education in May 2020, both at Millersville University. She received her M.S.E. in Art Education in the summer of 2024.
Prior to teaching, Jenni was a graphic designer and art manager for a media company for 12 years. She designed magazines, art directed photoshoots, and curated marketing materials for national trade associations. She brings her real-world experience and professionalism to the classroom and infuses her creative eye for design and typography into her lessons.
Currently, Jenni teaches high school art at Northeastern School District in Manchester, PA. She teaches courses focused on art foundations, drawing, painting, fiber arts and AP Art History. Jenni collaborates with students who want to pursue art in post-secondary education by guiding them in curating their art portfolios. She encourages students to show their work in the York area art community for shows such as Youth Art Month and YCASE Art Walk.
